Magotho is a perfect stop while heading to Savuti with its toss up for first prize sharing river border with Magotho this the perfect stop from moremi & Savuti as this reserve is situated in between two-park Moremi & Savuti section of Chobe national park. Wild animal roam freely between these areas. Sightings are plentiful throughout the year because high water levels attract game and the predators.

Day 1

A pick up at lodge/guest house at around 0700hrs then drive to Magotho khwai concession (Moremi Game Reserve), we have lunch enroute or at Mababe Khwai River, after lunch, we proceed to Khwai for evening game drive and at around 1815hrs we drive to the campsite. Magotho is about 130km from Maun.

A morning beauty bird calls/ melodies and the smell of coffee brewing on fire waking us up.  Tucking into a cooked breakfast. After this, it will be time to get back on board for a road transfer to Savuti, we will enjoy the leisurely drive as we continue our learning about its beauties, mostly unique and transit through Mababe Depression on our way to SAVUTI.

Day 2

An early morning wake-up signals a day of excitement and spectacular game sightings as you explore the Savuti National Park. During the wet season, the drives will concentrate on the grass plains where herds of animals gather with their young, which in turn attract predators. The dry season means the drives seek out the permanent waterholes where the resident animals congregate under the watchful eyes of the ever-present predators. After our camp to have lunch and enjoy an afternoon siesta.

After a well-deserved rest, we will head out for an evening game drive & sunset within the Savuti marsh, Marabou water hole. Upon return to the camp, you will be treated to a hot camp shower before proceeding to dinner around a campfire.

Day 3

Waking up at about 0545hrs, have breakfast and embark for morning game drive (Savuti national park) passing by bushman rock paintings (ROCK ART) then Savuti marsh, Baobab gallery afterwards we return to the camp for lunch and rest, at 1500hrs we embark for evening game drive to Jackal island and return to the camp site.

Day 4

Waking up at around 0530hrs have breakfast, start the day with a morning game drive in (Savuti) then proceed to (Chobe national park) entering at (Ngoma gate). Rest at Ngoma gate then we drive through Chobe national park to Kasane town for drop-off.

The Savuti (also spelt Savute) area borders the Delta to the west and Chobe National Park to the east and is one of Africa's best known big game areas. Savuti is a place of enchantment, of beauty, and boasts one of the greatest concentrations of animals in Southern Africa.
